iPhoto of the Day

Took this one while driving work, this morning. It's actually a crop of the original, and i used instagram's x-pro II filter to intensify the silhouette of Coimbra's University tower in the background.

iPhoto of the Day

If you follow me on instagram, you might have noticed this house before. It's situated close to my work, and i photograph it alot, because it makes great images. This one was shot at sunset, using ProHDR, and right after it stopped raining.

iPhoto of the Day

Another day with crap weather, namely nonstop rain. Funny thing is, in these conditions things that normally would make uninteresting photos, turn into great dramatic scenes. Take this old tech park rooftop. I used Pro HDR and instagram's lomo-fi to make contrast between the heavy sky, the aging signs of the building, the water over the rooftop and the colorful walls behind.

iPhoto of the day

Today the weather was really awful, and i was not really feeling inspired. Anyway, while I was waiting for my wife in the car I started taking photos of the car wet windshield, focusing on the water drops...until I made this one...do you see the little face there? How awesome is that?

iPhoto of the day

Was just sitting in the couch and messing with Instagram, when this caught my eye: carpet, couch and jeans. Pretty cool when together.

p.s: will try to post at least one photo everyday or so, and talk a bit about it (if you follow me on twitter, flickr or instagram, you know I post many photos, but don't talk much about them)
